Directions:For cake you'll need: entire contents of white mix (packed loose in outer bag) 1 egg + 1 yolk, 3/4 cup low-fat buttermilk or yogurt, 2 tsp gluten-free vanilla, 6 tbsp melted butter. For topping you'll need: entire bag of crumb mix (packed in small bag), 4 tbsp softened butter, 1 cup chopped nuts (optional). Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly oil an 8 inch springform pan. Combine eggs, buttermilk or yogurt and vanilla. Mix into cake mix. Add melted butter. Combine topping ingredients. Mix until crumbly. Spoon half the cake mixture into springform pan. Sprinkle half the topping over batter. Top with remaining cake batter and sprinkle with remaining topping mixture. Bake 50-55 minutes until toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. best ever
This has got to be the best ever gluten free product I tasted. I made one box, and froze several pieces. It was so good I took out a piece every couple of days. The texture was really like any cake made with wheat. Pretty sweet tasting so you don't need a lot at once, but you'll eat a lot over several days. I could not resist it!
