Stir occasionally and cook for 13-15** minutes until desired tenderness is reached. Rinse with cold water. Drain well. For best results, rid pasta of surface moisture. Can be served hot or warm with any kind of pasta sauce or in your favorite pasta recipes, in hot soup, in salad, stir-fried, or as a casserole. Use it as you would any regular pasta. The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking. ** Quick and Energy-Saving Cooking:Cook 1 to 2 minutes in boiling water. Switch off stove. Cover pot for about 16 minutes. Ready to serve.

Best Rice Pasta - Ever.
After trying several different rice pastas I came across this really yummy pasta. I expected it to fall apart like the other rice pastas I had tried, but was pleasantly surprised that it stayed quite intact, even once when I forgot it was on the stove during one of my frequent mommy distractions... okay - more than once, but let's not talk about that right now.
I tried the energy-saver cooking directions and they work quite well - something you can't really do with other rice pastas or regular pasta. Anything that still tastes that good without using excess heat (thereby saving electricity...) will frequent my cabinet as a welcome guest. (Meaning it won't overstay in there.) I buy it by the case now.
(Hey! With the energy-saver cooking directions, I could sell this stuff as "offsets" pasta... all the taste of regularly cooked pasta, but without the guilt!)
This is the only rice pasta I will feed my family. A great addition to a gluten free diet.
