When set on low for all-day simmering, this cooker from the makers of the original Crock Pot slowly tenderizes meat, turning even budget cuts into juicy meals. A modest 3-1/2-quart size, the oval-shaped crock holds enough chicken, beef, stew or soup for two to three people. The temperature knob has three settings: off, low, and high. The crock, which lifts from the base for cleaning, features a rinse-clean, lifetime stick-resistant coating. As long as extreme changes in temperature are avoided, such as placing in cold water when hot, the crock should give years of service. Both the crock and lid are dishwasher-safe. Great addition to the kitchen , I have a larger one as well. Cleans up easily. Miss the 4/6hr timer that the larger model has, but still great product.

A good buy5
After reading the reviews here and elsewhere, I decided on this Rival 3735WN 3-1/2 Quart Slow Cooker. I've used it several times now, and I am so happy I bought this. It replaced a crockpot that had finally gone out. This model made me realize that the old one was not working properly for years.
