Hello. My name is Rachel Sip, currently I teach in an alternative school in Oregon.

I have worked with children with special needs since 1999 as a group home employee, classroom instructional assistant, respite and recreational provider, camp counselor, special education teacher and family advocate. I also provide staff development to special and general education teachers on research based classroom strategies, special education law and the importance of teaching social cognitive skills.

I have written two e-books on my personal experiences & strategies working with students: Special Education Teacher's Guide to IEPs and Classroom Strategies that Increase the Success of Students with Autism.
