but give me a measure!5
What is the silver weight of the coin? wherewith is one to be savvy in silver buying options among vendors? must one blindly or with blind faith make this purchase or how does one shop around for the best bargain?

The Federal Reserve is a SCAM!!!5
Many people think the Fedeal Reserve is part of the Government when in fact it is run by private banks and not part of the government at all. The money we are holding only has value because we are forced by the government to think it has value when in fact, it is no longer backed up by gold or silver. The dollar is worth 4 cents what it was worth in 1913. How do you like getting a pay cut without changing the amount of money being paid? Your dollar can buy less that what it use to.

Only coins like the ones above will save our economy and get the USA back on track...

End the Federal Reserve and IRS, vote Ron Paul!!!

Some people just like to hate on others... who kows why, but they do.5

This is a response to Grace's "review", the answer to the question is really simple: Amazon overcharges for shipping. Since you can't change what amazon charges for shipping, the seller discounts the product a bit to compensate.

But really, is your complaint that they aren't charging enough? IF so, I'd love to sell you a car!

Further, your review isn't an actual review of the product- you give no indication that you have bought the product, and no opinion of the value of the product in your eyes... you just obliquely attack it, by making it clear that you find something repugnant about it, but by not being honest about what it is, you prevent an honest rebuttal. Or are we to believe your really complaining that they are charging $3 less than you think they should?

FWIW, the Liberty Dollar is a free market form of money, and thus it can exchange for whatever any two people wish. Really this is true of every type of money- Euros and dollars do not exchange one to one and this changes on a daily basis. The face value of the Liberty Dollar is a suggested exchange rate for merchants to use, and most do.

However, when the price of silver goes over $20, then nobody will be exchanging one ounce silver pieces for less than $20. And, surprisingly, at the time you made your "review" the value of the dollar was plunging against other currencies, and against gold and silver.

The point of the liberty dollar is to preserve value by putting it into something that has intrinsic value-- like silver-- and thus to protect people when the US Dollar realizes its true value due to the massive inflation over the last 70 years.

At that time, the face value of the liberty will have changed significantly... but it will be going up, not down.

If you really have a problem with $300 face value of liberties going for $297 (plus amazon shipping cost) then I'll be happy to sell them to you for $300 (plus the same shipping.)

Certainly this discount does not merit giving the product -- which you apparently have never bought-- one star.
