Customer Reviews

fun, but photo is VERY misleading!4
The ball pit I got for my son has a slightly different design but is essentially the same thing. However, the photo you see does NOT reflect the number of balls you actually get! YOU ONLY GET 25 BALLS WITH THIS SET!! If you want more you can buy them; they're about $8 for 100 balls.100 pcs Fun Ballz That's dirty marketing if you ask me. And I doubt it would hold 2 kids; my son fills it all by himself and he's not very tall for his age.

It's a little hard to blow up; I had to do it by hand (by mouth, actually) and it took a while. My suggestion would be to put it in your car and find a gas station with an air hose. You also can't use it outside on a really windy day, or your kid might be the only thing holding it down. So far we've only used it inside because of our crappy weather.

Still, all that aside, it seems to be holding up fairly well. My son is 2 and very rough-and-tumble with his toys, and he's stomped on this, fallen on it, and stomped on the balls, and so far no leaks. Don't know how long that will last, but for now at least, he's just loving it. With our bad weather (it's April here in Germany and still snowing) it's hard to keep him entertained sometimes, but the pit provides a whole day of fun.

UPDATE 3 November 2008--still going strong; it has a VERY slow leak in it now; either that or the valve/plug is starting to get a little misshapen. But it will still stay blown up for most of the day. No leaks after 7 months? That's pretty good...

UPDATE 15 August 2009--STILL works! We can't find the leak but it still stays blown up for most of the day!

Elation to Deflation2
I bought this for my son who is 13 months old... now i realize he is not in the recommended age range for this product but he LOVED it. I was always sitting right next to him watching him play and he loved crawling in and out of it over the edge. However every morning when we would go into his play room to play it would be slightly deflated. I would pump it back up and he would play as normal. However every morning it was deflated again... I checked for holes and could find nothing. It wasnt really deflated to the point of being flat but just enough to where it would sag. Needless to say we have folded it up and placed it back in the closet for use only on special occasions.

Not very happy2
The ball pit was not inflatable at home, so we took it to a gas station, but since it was big, it wouldn't fit even in our SUV, we then got the half inflated pit and after the birthday party, it's just sitting in the garage deflated.
