The British PAL Region 2 DVD set comprises both series of the British ‘Queer As Folk.' You will need an All Regions DVD Player to watch it. This is the show that started it all. There had never been such a frank portrayal of gay life on British TV before. The cast and story are excellent, and Aiden Gillen, playing the promiscuous, almost predatory, Stuart, is unforgettable.

I forgot to mention that Sharon Gless of 'Cagney & Lacey' fame added extra zest to the show in the role of Michael's mom.

The fourth season.

If you want to own all of 'Queer As Folk,' every last episode, buying this set will allow you to accomplish this in one fell swoop.

Lavish, Sexy, Dramatic & Beautiful. The sexuality is frank, and a lesbian love affair is portrayed. Last, but not least, the handsome James Purfoy not only becomes Mark Anthony on screen, but he is featured in a full nude scene that reveals he has assets beyond just his terrific acting ability.

'Doctor Who' is going as strong as ever in the third series, and John Barrowman returns as Captain Jack Harkness at the end of the season.

I don't own this one yet, but I will be buying it as soon as it comes out. John Barrowman is simply electric in his role as Captain Jack. Like many fans, I am sure, I do wonder just how far Ianto Jones and he have gotten on their list of things to do with a stopwatch.

Season four and still funny.

Season six.

A very touching and warm series finale.

Chad Allen returns as gay detective Donald Strachey from the popular series of mystery novels. Still well-crafted and not afraid to address some difficult and intense challenges facing the gay community. 'On The Other Hand, Death' and 'Ice Blues' are the next films to be released in the series."

The cast is back with supernatural doings, melodrama, sex, nudity and lots of good-looking eye candy. Of course, it's preposterous, but, admit it, you like it.

Both the first and second seasons of this guilty pleasure in one set. It, also, contains the original pilot episode and is probably the best value for your money. If I were purchasing 'Dante's Cove' for the first time--I already own the first two seasons separately--this is the set that I would buy for myself.

Sadly, nowhere near as amusing as the first series. Paul Gross is sorely missed, and there isn't nearly enough of Bill Campbell. However, Olympia Dukakis and Laura Linney are still pretty good.

After praising sexy John Barrowman and delicious Bill Campbell, I felt that a little balance should be provided for lesbian fans. This BBC drama might do just that.
