He has developed and coached ten #1 players in the world (Andre Agassi, Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Jelena Jankovic, Jim Courier, Boris Becker, Martina Hingis, Marcelo Rios, and Monica Seles), as well as a multitude of other world-class players including Nicole Vaidisova, Anna Kournikova, Mary Pierce, Jimmy Arias, Tommy Haas, Max Mirnyi, and Xavier Malisse, to name a few.

Bollettieri has built one of the best training facilities in the world, the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, which he founded in 1977. Now known as the Bollettieri Sports Academy, the facility covers 158 acres and has become the most successful and diversified multi-sport training complex in the world. The success of his academy can be seen in the success of his students. His training system is recognized worldwide as oneof the best.

Bollettieri started out as a club tennis coach in the 1950s and once worked as a private coach for the Rockefeller family while serving as the director of tennis for all Rockefeller-owned hotels and resorts. He founded his first tennis academy, the Port Washington Tennis Academy on Long Island, New York, in 1969.

In 1999, The United States Tennis Association (USTA) named Nick Bollettieri the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) National Coach of the Year. He is a regular contributor to Tennis magazine. Bollettieri resides in Bradenton, Florida.

Nick Bollettieri's Stroke Instruction Series: Killer Forehand DVD
This product matched or exceeded my expectation. It clearly shows the right move in details. I have private tennis lessions for many years but I can learn more from the video. The video is better suited to advance players. You can really learn the essential in hitting the ball if you can play slow motion in that part of the video.
