Buy new: $30.25 / Used from: $27.99 The vet said that this style of automatic feeder was good for two things: first, it could be set so it gives the cat 30 minutes to eat its fill and then remove the food, twice a day. Second, because the food comes from the device, not us, the cat will stop begging us for food!
He didn't recommend any one brand, just said that there were a few of this style that were all pretty much the same.

Buy new: $7.47 The vet says that cats really don't need anything other than meat in their diet. We had been giving them Wellness Grain Free, but he said that there were too many carbs in that! Potato starch, pea fiber, squash etc.

Buy new: $21.59 Wysong is the other brand that he said made good, all meat food for the kitties.
The best part is that in addition to being good for the cats, he thinks it will help our 8-year old girl to lose weight. (She's 16 lbs right now, should really get down to 12.)

Buy new: $26.20 The vet didn't actually recommend this one, but we can't express our thanks to the Premier people enough! Our cats love to meow outside our bedroom door in the morning, and this is a very harmless and effective way of shooing them away.

Buy new: $139.99 Again, not quite recommended by our vet, but it makes my life SO much easier. (Somehow I got the chore of taking care of the cat litter.)
The only thing I'm not happy about with this litter box is the fact that the odor is actually a little stronger than I would prefer.
One thing: get the anti-tracking carpet to go with this.

Don't expect miracles though! He said it might be five or six months before we really saw an improvement.
