About the Actor
Morio Higaonna is a student of An'ichi Miyagi one of the last and greatest disciples of the Founder of Goju Ryu karate, Chojun Miyagi. He is the author of "The History of Karate Goju Ryu" an excellent book that traces the history of his style, as well as the six part Goju Ryu Technical series of DVDs and the best selling, Goju Ryu Karate Kata on DVD. Higaonna Sensei has more than 30,000 students in 45 countries, and is viewed as one of Goju Ryu's greatest living exponents.
