Not a Class 6 card but sold as a Video HD card
It's SanDisk so the quality is great. The only problem is that it is promoted to be used for Video HD devices. The problem is, many Video HD camcorders need the faster Class 6 cards. This card is a slower class 4.
If you can use a class 4 card, this is a great card. I gave this three stars because I had to find out the hard way that class 4 is too slow for my Video HD camcorder. In other words, I gave it three stars because I think it is not being promoted accurately. It works perfectly as an (expensive) quality class 4 card.
Perfect match for Canon Vixia HF100
I bought four of these last year for my Canon Vixia HF100. So far we've used two of them and they work perfectly. They are more expensive than other brands, but usually you get what you pay for with Sandisk. As a side-note, I always use the HF100's highest quality setting, FXP, which is 17Mbps (MegaBITS per second) AVCHD, and the VideoHD cards are class 4 (4.0MB/s x 8 = 32Mbps), which is more than enough for he Vixia's max throughput.
Class 6 SDHC card - works for digital cameras!!
I bought this recently from a store while on travel because I maxed out my 2GB SD card while taking photos. I thought 593 photos was enough, but I needed more. This SanDisk 8GB SDHC card, although marketed as a "Video HD" card, it is fully compatible with digital cameras that use SD/SDHC cards. In addition, it is a CLASS 6 SDHC card, not Class 4 as stated in Amazon. On my 7MP Canon Powershot A570IS, the 8GB can hold over 2300 photos at max resolution.
The blisterpack opens up to reveal the SDHC card and a plastic case. I bought the card in a bind because I needed the card ASAP and didn't have time to research the best price, but I was amazed to find out later on that the store actually sold it at a lower price than Amazon. You can't beat the value of this card unless you settle for a no-name brand or a lesser brand.
Pros: Works fine in my digital camera, very fast, comes with a decent SD card case, great bang for the buck (Class 6)
Cons: It's not marketed very clearly as being designed for all SDHC applications. I asked one of the workers at the store and she said it *should* work but she wasn't 100% sure. The funnier part is that this Class 6 "Video HD" SDHC card was less expensive than the Class 4 and Class 6 regular SDHC cards!
Overall: 5/5 stars!
