Not as bad as you would expect. Cold War has ended. Russia decides to get rid of a deadly bioweapon by returning it to the U.S. from which it had been stolen. Officer Hendricks (Dolph Lundgren) has been assigned to pick up the virus sample and escort it back via submarine. Terrorists hijack the sub and attempt to launch bioweapon attack on New York and Moscow. Don't forget the silly love story.

When an American submarine loses its communication system, sailors revolt and imprison their commander (Casper Van Dien). With his men preparing to fire missiles at Russia and another sub ready to destroy his, Sheffield looks for a way to regain control. CVD even keeps his shirt on (most of the time).

Most people feel that this is the best Submarine movie ever. I agree. There is nothing that I can add that would add to anything already said. This and "Run Silent, Run Deep" are what all submarine movies strive to be.

Pretty good 1970's disaster movie. A nuclear sub sinks off the coast after a collision with a surface ship. The Navy uses an experimental submersible to reach the sub and attempt to rescue the crew. The first submarine movie I saw. This started my love affair with submarines and submarine movies.

I really enjoyed this movie. I like William H. Macy. A U.S. sub is heading home after months at sea, they never make it. As prisoners of war onboard a U-boat (an epidemic breaks out), and the small group of American survivors find their loyalties put to the test when they're forced to join their German captors to fight for their very lives.

Dreary Dennis Hopper movie. I exected more. Unknown nuke sub conceals itself in protected waters. Sweden's government along with the U.S. must find the enemy. Just when the solution is at hand, a top secret laser designed by the military is stolen and the lab is destroyed. A U.S official is assigned to find the laser and get it back before it's technology falls into the wrong hands.

The Land that Time Forgot. Okay, so this isn't a great movie, but it's a whole lot of fun. We have a nazi submarine taken over by survivors from a ship that they torpedoed. They find the lost island of Copernicas and run into dinosours and cavemen. The People that Time Forgot has no sub :(

This and Das Boot are what all submarine movies strive to achieve. The captain of a submarine sunk by the Japanese during WWII is finally given a chance to skipper another sub after a year of working a desk job. His singleminded determination for revenge against the destroyer that sunk his previous vessel puts his new crew in unneccessary danger.

WWII propaganda film. Nazi spies use a stolen prototype transmitter to broadcast top secret shipping info to an offshore Japanese sub. The Government has the West Coast's top radio engineers fired and shadowed to see if the Nazis recruit them to complete work on the prototype radio.

A German submarine is boarded by disguised American submariners trying to capture their Enigma cipher machine. An old fashioned fun submarine movie. Good movie, lot's of today's stars.

This movie was edited and retitled. The original film was much better and certainly more interesting. CDR Burt Habley gets a chance to redeem himself after a disastrous mission, but the phantom submarine that attacked before still lurks below the ocean's surface

Awesome documentary from the History Channel. Good informative entertaining, not just about U.S. submarines, but submarines from all over the world.
