As much a murder mystery as it is a war film -- VERY good! (It has a low rating because this particular DVD tranfer is bad -- but the movie itself is awesome!)

Brutal treatment of WW II P.O.W.s by the Japanese.

A terrific sniper film.

One of my favorites. Lots of big stars (Lawford, Bronson, etc.) and a great atmospheric '60s soundtrack by Hugo Friedhofer. WW II jungle stuff. (Color, letterbox).

John wayne kicks butt... as usual.

Richard Burton has to get his team in for an espionage project against the Nazis and then get out, which becomes difficult to say the least. (Color)

Lee Marvin is planning to kill LOTS of German officers during WW II... and he uses convicts to help him pull it off. Telly Savalas (who plays a brutal religious zealot) becomes really problematic during the operation. (Color).

Big John stars in this superb WW II film.

A really well-done film. James Mason generates an almost sympathetic Nazi officer (Rommell).

Not a huge connection with its predecessor ("Bataan") but still a terrific film.

Japanese Theater WW II film -- this one is my absolute favorite and features a great performance by Jim Mitchum. (Color, letterbox).

Sort of a TV movie but some will like it. This one was made a long time after WW II had ended. (Color).

American P.O.W.s in a brutal German prison camp plan an escape... but first they have to find the traitor who's in their midst. A marvellous black-and-white film.

A really unique war film.
