This book is overrated.  It fell far short of my expectations.  Maybe I am too old to be introduced to Vonnegut?

A dreadful attempt at travelogue/journalism.  Cary bumbles his way into Montenegro during the First Balkan War of 1912/1913.  He has no understanding of what is happening.
