Finished. Vonnegut is quite simply, a genius. A very satirical, fragmented view on modern life through a tale woven around a learning disabled college, a prison, and the Vietnam war. It all fits together in a way that perhaps only Vonnegut could pull off. Rating: ****

Finished. The utter worst of chick lit, 300+ pages of whining about a tyrannical boss, then, it simply ended. There were some high points, like Nigel, one of the most entertaining characters I've ever seen -- however, they're hardly enough to save this mess. Perhaps the movie will be better -- it has a very different plot, and Meryl Streep after all. Rating: * (simply for Nigel.)
