Made with a blend of 70 percent nylon, 25 percent polypropylene, and 5 percent spandex, the arm warmers feature Pearl Izumi's signature moisture wicking capabilities to keep your arms dry, warm, and comfortable. Like all Pearl Izumi products the Seamless Arm Warmer has a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, that excludes failures from accidents, misuse, improper care, or normal wear. For best results Pearl Izumi recommends washing its products with detergents free of additives, such as fabric softeners and perfumes, because detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Hang dry the product or dry it on a low or warm dryer setting. Never use a hot dryer setting or use a commercial dryer as this will damage the fabric's performance.

Perfect for those chilly AM runs/rides
Absolutely LOVE these. They help keep you warm on those mornings when you know it's gonna get hot before you're done and you don't want to have both a long sleeve and short sleeve jersey. They slip on and off quickly and compress small enough to slip into the bottom of a water bottle holder/pouch or a small hydration pack. They're also great for minimizing the slashes and tears that come from running some of the rougher/less developed trails. Also great for wiping sweat from your brow. All in all a great purchase!

Pretty good choice and definately helps in cooler weather
I bought these because when it gets cooler, I hate taking a jacket to work, or wearing long sleeves on a jog/walk if I know it'll get warm pretty quick. I still prefer wearing a technical/compression shirt under my shirt to wearing these, but those shirts have a tendency to get hot after a while -- espeically if you're indoors. I generally leave a pair of these, gloves, and a headband with ear protection in my car just in case they're needed.

I've looked at several others, some more expensive, some less. These seemed to be a fair compromise. The material is a little rougher than I expected as I would have liked a little more lycra-feel and a little less wool-feel, but it's not too bad.

As for warmth, they are very good at keeping your arms warm. They also breathe fairly well so it's not uncomfortable unless it's getting very warm out in general.

As for tightness, I found that the first two or three times I've worn these, I felt a little sore where the elastic is on the ends (mainly the biceps and not so much the wrist). After the first few wearings, and possibly the washings, they don't seem to be that sore any more. They still hold very well and there is no noticable stretching of the material even after numerous wearings and a couple washings.

I may try a different brand next time, but that's only to have something to compare these too.

Too tight, cuts off circulation
Not what I wanted. Wanted something warm but also soft & comfortable. Fabric is kind of rough and a little scratchy. The elastic at both ends is very tight, and made my arms numb after only a few minutes. I found some others that I preferred to these, the "Chocolate Leg Warmer doubles as Arm Warmer by KD Dance" (also available at Amazon) is much softer and has no elastic bands at the ends.
