To my surprise, they worked- even for a skeptic.
My husband and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. About 1/2 an hour after the ship sailed, I became quite seasick. My husband went to the on-board store to get Dramamine or whatnot. They were all out. He brought back the only thing left: Sea Bands. I said "what is this ridiculous Voodoo, it'll never work, plus they don't even remotely match my outfit." We both laughed at them, but I was willing to try anything at that point, so on they went. About 20 minutes later, I was noticeably better, and about 40 minutes later, I was completely cured. I wore them for the remainder of the trip and told anyone who even remotely looked seasick to try them. The ship ran out of these, so occasionally I would let someone borrow them for a few hours or a 1/2 day....as long as I knew their room number and they promised NOT to steal these magical things from me!!! About six of us are going on yet another cruise this month, and we have ordered eight pairs of SeaBands- one for each of us, a spare, and one to give out to some poor soul who is green on the ship! They work, they are relatively cheap, and they have NO side effects. However, I doubt they'll match your wardrobe...but I doubt being green from seasickness will match your wardrobe either, so you can choose your fashion faux-pas! Me? I'd rather look strange with the wristbands and like a bright-eyed smartie as opposed to the best dressed green-faced, dull-eyed ill woman!!!!!

Works great!!
These worked great, and they are so easy to use. Just make sure you follow the directions, and they stay in the correct place. The two people who normally get seasick didn't. One of the bands slipped out of place on my other daughter- she got a bad headache. So, we know that the ones that stayed in place for all of us did work!

Inner Ear Problems? Sea Bands Have Helped
I sent some sea bands to my elderly mother, whose inner ear problems which cause dizziness and nausea, have progressively become more troublesome to her as she ages. She wears them constantly now. While she still has some inner ear related problems such as dizziness, she reports that the nausea has diminished noticeably. She is asking me to send her some more!
