Customer Reviews

Maybe not what you would expect.3
Although the book is an informative technical resource with many exploded views drawings of system assemblies and part numbers, it is not exactly a restoration guide. There is not really anything in the book that would step a restorer through the nuts and bolts of working on their mustang. There is some helpful caption information underneath the photos identifying types and options available for the different systems found on the cars.

Reference to a full Restoration5
I've recently purchased this book and have read the other reviews. Despite what others have said this book is amazing. No it doesn't come with basic instructions on the steps to replacing carpet, dash pads, or uphosltery. Instead it has all the exploded diagrams and correct examples of everything found on and in a vintage Mustang. This information is vital to a full car restoration and won't be found in the commmon (any I've seen) restion mannual. Other restoration books are a help in doing some fixing up to your Mustang, this book will show you what you need to know to build a complete car and make it an MCA Award wining Mustang.

Lots of exploded views but no documented restorations4
This book contains a much higher degree (and number) of charts, exploded views etc. but is missing the step by step how to's that belong in a book entitled "Restoration Guide" I thought detailed restoration projects would be featured. However, it still could serve as a reference manual.
