Product Description

Secret Service
By popular demand, we created new Matte Eyeshadows that are sexy, sophisticated, and never dull. The collection comes in a wide variety of shades - from blendable earth tones to vibrant bursts of color. Pigment-rich with an ultra-soft texture, Matte Eyeshadows are low in binders, so payoff is amazing and never chalky! The classic Urban Decay subway token is dressed up with a gunmetal finish so you can tell them apart from your other Urban Decay Eyeshadows>
Combined with Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Color lasts even longer and payoff is even richer. Use Eyeshadow Transforming Potion to use Matte Eyeshadows as a liner, or all over opaque color.

dust in the wind2
Ok before you go all kuhrayzee thinking I am an Urban Decay hater: I'm not. I love a lot of the UD products. Primer Potion, the glitter shadows especially Last Call, the palettes, Oil Slick lipstick is one of my all time favorites, the 27/7 liners are some of the best around. The matte shadows however? Not so much.

I have these in the shades revolver and cult. Both come in beautiful and functional packaging. I really like how the lids pop up so they can be closed with one hand - a delight when your other hand is busy holding a brush. The pans are deep and full, no skimping on product. The color goes on the lid smoothly at first. What I do is I load up the brush and pat it on, then blend along the edges. Unfortunately, even over Primer Potion, the matte shadows just disappear as soon as any blending takes place, revealing nothing more than a naked looking lid. Sorry but I need a little more staying power and to call this Intense is just unfair.

I think that if UD just tweaked the formula a bit they would have a winner.
