Made the same way as our organic velour fitted diapers with an inner and outer layer of plush organic velour, a hidden layer of hemp jersey, and a sewn in soaker made with 2 layers of hemp french terry topped with organic velour. It comes with a removable snap in soaker pad composed of 2 layers of hemp french terry topped with organic velour. At the largest setting, that equals 9 layers of absorbency!! Colored diapers come with just the outer layer dyed with low-impact environmentally friendly dyes, and all layers next to the baby's skin are undyed. This diaper is not waterproof and will require a cover. Colored diapers are colorfast and can be washed together with your white diapers without the colors bleeding.

Great and soft!!!
This diaper is great. I can't imagine a newborn wearing it, so the one-size isn't quite accurate until they start to get a good amount of weight on them, but it will certainly last a while hopefully through potty training. I've only had it few about a week so I don't know how soft it'll stay after repeat washes, but it is very soft now! And, I'm able to leave my baby without a diaper cover for a while without it getting wet on the outside. Although, for extended/overnight wear or heavy wetters, a diaper cover is a must. It's not waterproof by any means, but it is absorbent. I'm going to buy one more. :)

An excellent buy
I love these diapers. I only use both the doublers at night so during the day with just the one doubler they arent bulky really at all. I can see that the leg holes would be to large for a newborn but by 4-5 months on these are excellent diapers. They fit my 9 month old and my 3 month old perfectly.

pricey but....
worth it. they will fit her probably going into a year. they didn't fit her right away when she was 2 and 3 months-so it's not really one size fits- the leg holes were too big but they fit her great now and will for months and months to come- very bulky diapers though with all the layers- so i only put them on her when it's warm in the house and she doesn't have to wear pants.
