As long as you understand what you are buying...
This is a fine beginner's bodhran. I have gotten compliments on the appearance and several players more experienced than I have enjoyed playing it. It is not a Hedwitschak or an O'Kane or one of the other very fine, high-end drums that more accomplished players use. But it is not priced like those either. This is a servicable bodhran that is good enough to learn on and not so expensive that you would be discouraged from trying.
