About the Author
Tomi Tuel graduated from college at age 22, then again at 30 marriage, career, children, and a mortgage in between. Life had a certain order and divorce wasn t in the mix. But when her husband came down with the infamous seven-year itch, her world crumbled, yet all seemed to be ironically on track as she navigated the mine field of divorce. With little warning of the impending upheaval, she picked herself up to face the mêlée of her life and became a survivor and a new recruit in Divorce War. Tomi holds a Master s Degree from California State University, Sacramento, but her degree is not in Psychology or Counseling. In fact, she has no formal education in marriage and family counseling or psychology, but if the School of Hard Knocks passed out degrees, she would have a Ph.D. Now a battle-hardened veteran, Tomi is a self-proclaimed girl with a mission and her book is receiving acclaim from fellow authors and leading psychologists. As her book recounts, Tomi found peace after her divorce and now is a frequent speaker to audiences, large and small, on divorce recovery. She has remarried and lives with her husband and two children in Sacramento, California. 101 Things I Learned After My Divorce is a must-read for anyone facing the many stages of divorce, or for an interested bystander who wants to better understand the tribulations of a Divorce Warrior. So, calibrate your Crap Meter (chapter 4) and prepare to assault Heartbreak Ridge with Tomi as your Brigadier general leading the charge. In her debut book, Tomi s passion for inspiring and motivating those in the trenches is a genuine breath of fresh air a survival kit when life s turns make it difficult to breathe.

Badly needs an editor2
I loved the title of this book but was sorely disappointed after reading it. The content was very weak and the editor was absent, apparently! I couldn't believe all the spelling errors and poorly structured sentences. But the content was so light, often silly and not helpful. This book did not give me any new insights.

A female point of view4
My interest was to get an idea of the feelings and experiences I might expect while going through the divorce process and after the completed court approved divorce.
Although I'm of the male gender, it helps to understand as many sides of a situation as possible. The book helped me understand some female feelings.

A reminder for anyone who's ever been through a divorce...4
this book was a great reminder for me for the long road thru hell going through a divorce...I couldn't put it down. Anyone who has gone through a divorce and is just beginning to pick up the pieces to move on should really have this book by their bed. It was excellent!
