An interesting tool for students4
This book can be compared to other Principles of Surgery. It has good B&W illustrations and is easy reading. Some subjects are not so detailed as I was looking for, but it can be an useful guide for medical students and general surgery residents.

This book is absolutely essential for any general surgery resident. What makes it so highly valuable is that it has online access and therefore a resident can spend any downtime before a case reading online and reviewing for the case to be performed. This book, and its online access, will ensure that you don't go into any cases "cold".
