From the Manufacturer
Peltor's dual cup design minimizes resonance to achieve maximum protection from high and low frequencies; muffling both the deep snorting of the backhoe and the high-pitched whine of the concrete saw. This patented design provides the highest noise reduction rating for earmuffs in its class. Lightweight and super comfortable, the H10A is designed to be worn all day.
Customer Reviews
Hearing protection
Peltor H10A arrived in a most timely fashion, and was exactly as described. They were adjustable to fit very comfortable. My Ryobi string trimmer is very loud, and the Peltor Noise Cancelling Muffs provide more than ample protection. Great product, and highly reccommended.
Hearing Protection - Peltor H10A
This headset fits good and really cuts the noise level when running noisy woodworking tools like routers. I may have to put a flashing light on the phone so I don't miss any calls.
Much better than earplugs
The amount of sound these things block without the aid of electronics is remarkable, and while they may look goofy, I greatly prefer them to those fiddly little foam earplugs that invariably get lost and exacerbate wax build up. They're definitely snug, but if they weren't they wouldn't work. I've seen dudes with much bigger heads than mine wear them all day long without a problem, so I think all but the most sensitive folks should be able to adapt. Even if you can't, your hearing is probably worth an occasional headache.
Great product at a great price.
