The compact head on this turner is ideal for flipping chicken breasts or stirring sautés. The nylon head, which is safe when used against nonstick and stainless cookware, is designed to handle temperatures up to 410 degrees F, so it interacts with most cooking surfaces. Like other kitchen tools in the Chantal Stainless line, the tool's 18/10 stainless-steel handle is filled with a nonreactive cement that provides terrific balance in the hand while also standing up to the heat of a dishwasher. The steel never rusts, and the watertight seal between the stem and the handle guarantees that moisture won't penetrate the insides of the tool. The handle is slightly curved for additional comfort in the hand, and it features a small hook at the end that fits ideally on a rack or peg for hanging. The hook is inspired by the mushroom shape of Chantal's classic lid knobs, seen on many of the company's cookware items and teakettles. Really small
I'm sure this is a fine product, but the description does not specify the size of the spatula -- it's only about three inches. I returned it, and because "poor product description" was not an available option as a reason to return, I had to pay the shipping costs. Unless you're specifically looking for a tiny spatula, this is not for you.
