Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review
Compatible with Cuisipro’s Donvier yogurt maker, these eight additional jars are great as backup for making a double batch of homemade yogurt or a second flavor. The jars are made of a high-grade polycarbonate that is unbreakable and won’t retain food odors or stains. Each jar holds a single serving of 0.18 liters of yogurt, which is about equal to the 6-ounce store-bought yogurt containers. All ingredients go directly into the cups, which are heated in the electric yogurt maker. All jars come with tight-fitting storage lids. Jars are dishwasher-safe but lids must be washed by hand. --Cristina Vaamonde

I like glass ones so much better2
Have both these and glass yogurt containers. Give me the glass hands down any time any where. The lids that screw on and off with the glass ones just seem to function better and easier. These may take up a tad less room in your fridge as they are narrower and taller over all but glass seems cleaner and I can't say enough good things about the glass jars. Also I will reach for the kerr or ball 4 ounce regular lid jars when I need an extra yogurt jar or two over these once again. I find the plastic lids on the acrylic jars hard to remove without disturbing the yogurt. Yes I like my yogurt with a firm non stirred up texture. Otherwise it goes into smoothy style drinks and it doesn't matter. Each to their own but glass is my cup of yogurt and choice...these plastic ones now sit down in the dark basement shelf...waiting quietly at least. PS you can get plastic screw on caps for all regular canning jars and also most mayo plastic lids fit them as well. But by all means MAKE YOGURT no matter what your preferences of tools be.

You need extra cups if you eat yogurt regularly5
I bought the Cuisipro Donvier yogurt maker. It makes great yogurt; however, there are only 8 cups (one batch). My family can go through 8 cups of yogurt in just a few days. I promptly had to order the extra cups. I recommend that you go ahead and get the additional cups - you won't regret it.

Nice jars for a backup set, fits Deni yogurt maker too.5
I bought these as a second set for my Deni yogurt maker because my fiance was worried about me taking the original glass jars to work (and so he could have his own set). These jars are more durable than the glass ones and have better fitting lids so they don't leak. They are a little taller than the original jars so the lid of the yogurt maker doesn't fit quite right. I cover it with a kitchen towel to keep it warm and the yogurt turns out fine.
