Dependable hot mitt
I've owned a pair of these for 3 years and wouldn't have anything else. First, they're easy to get on and therefore QUICK. I'm often rushing to get something out of the over and the last thing I want to deal with is a reluctant mitt. Whether your hands are wet or dry, they're on!
and they have a great grip! then when they get dirty, I just put them on and basically wash my hands. The mitts clean right up.
Now, the word of warning. If you're planning on carrying a 25 pound iron pot which is glowing red hot, to the next yard and back, you might want to add some padding. These mitts are for the home cook who wants to get the hot item out and down quickly. If you hold the item for say 20 seconds, you're going to feel the heat start and that's because these are thin. But the thin is why all the other things work. So, enjoy!

A Cool Handful
I like these much better than the old cloth oven mitts. They are easy to clean, just wipe with a cloth.

The best oven mitts I've found.
Kitchen Grips really work, even when they're wet. Easy to clean. Only problem is they make me feel a little klutzy. I guess it has to do with the thickness. But much better and more flexible than my old Oxo mitts.
