For baking or recipes that require more exact quantities of ingredients, this measuring cup set ensures uniform measurements. The set includes individual scoops in standard 1/4-, 1/3-, 1/2-, and 1-cup sizes. Each scoop is also labeled in metric measurements. Made of durable plastic, the cups can measure dry ingredients, such as flour or sugar, or wet ingredients, such as milk or vinegar. The cups are also heat-safe so they can be washed in the dishwasher or used to remove boiling water out of a stockpot for a pasta dish. A plastic leveler is included with the set for leveling the top off of scoops of flour or baking powder. A hook at the end of the leveler threads through eyes at the end of each measuring cup to keep the set nested and together. Great Set
Measuring cups don't really seem like something on which you would even think to write a review. However, I really like these for several reasons. They nest tightly; the sides are straight and it's easy to use a knife to top off for exact measuring; the handles are comfortable; they clean up nicely in the dishwasher; they are wide and bottoms flat making it easy to measure ingredients and just sit the cup on the counter without worrying it will tip over; AND the markings are large so I don't need glasses to see what size cup it is. Very nice thing to have in the kitchen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Kitchen utensil update
I figured after 10 years or so, it wouldn't hurt to replace some of the "basics" in my kitchen. That's what I did and was happily surprised to find that this Cuisinart set has a great "feel" to it and comes out of the dishwasher in fine shape.

Good but does not stay together
This product is strong, durable, RED with white print, legible, and overall, a well made product. If the review ended there, then the product would have a 5 star review....but unfortunatly, the description does not state that the cups do not stay together. the leveler allows the cups to come apart too easily. I like having them neatly kept together so i dont end up losing the pieces in my drawer. The leveler is a good idea though, i enjoy the fact that i dont need a knife to do that job, but i really wish it were attached to the rest of the set. (or there were another ring keeping them attached. )
