Poor Amazon went through the expense of overnighting me a replacement skillet, and that, too chipped as soon as I tried removing the handle, following the instructions. I contacted Fagor who said I had to bother Amz again. I gave the skillet away after one use, instead.

I have a one-burner convection cooktop in a very small living space. To replace the skillet, I got a gorgeous Circulon 4 quart saucepan. It has about the same cooking base as the skillet, but the sides help prevent splatters. It's nonstick properties work wonderfully.
