I, Gregory GOrDon am a web designer committed among other things to see to it that pages with a black background eventually rule cyberspace. My reasoning is that they are more elegant and easier on the eyes, and you will always be able to find your mouse pointer against the black background and not have to strain your eyes to find it as you sometimes have to do against a white background. But the reason that will carry the day if not now but in a few years is that pages with black backgrounds use less energy. Thankfully now there is Blackle.com another google powered search site to recognize the value of a black background. You can help in this design shift by doing all of your online shopping here with us and Amazon.com. For further energy savings we feature grocery products. A truck on a route just has to make one more stop so the energy used will be much less than if everyone makes a trip. | ||
