Customer Reviews
Helpful, but a little cynical
Small book that is easy to read, but somewhat out of date (as another reviewer noted, no info about some of the newer options like hip resurfacing). Read the excerpts here; e.g., first few pages are a little bit cynical, but guess that goes with the title.
good book
very good advice , highly recommend, somewhat skeptical of medical field with good suggestions of how to avoid problems by asking the right questions(I'm in the medical field and agree with his views) john
Out of Date
Unfortunately, this book does not go into any detail that you can't easily find on the web. It's out of date; no coverage of the new hip resurfacing techniques.
