A book that can help when it feels like you've lost everythi5
As a grief counselor, I've seen a lot of books about loss. But rarely have I seen a book that is so sensitive and accurate about the many feelings people experience when they lose someone close to them. The journal entries, prompting the reader to write about their feelings about the loss, are exactly the kind of thing I suggest that the people in my grief groups do. If you've lost someone you love, I can't recommend this book highly enough.

For anyone stunned by what loss feels like5
This book was given to me soon after my mother died. Use it at your own pace because healing grief is not painless. However, it is wonderful at making you express your feelings, giving you something to chew on for a while. The book gave me the opportunity to say what I wanted to say to my mom before she died (I missed her last couple of days). It's cathartic to talk to your lost loved one through writing, so I recommend you give this book a try.

I lost my closest friend to breast cancer. After literally wanting to die myself ,because the grief was so overwhelming I had to do something. I found this book and immediately started working through my grief. I still miss Kim, but I have the tools to deal with my grief. it is a must for grieving people.
