Luggage that will Maybe Last Forever
I just got back from still another long flight and am about to unpack, but before that I went to my computer, checked my e-mail, then I logged onto Amazon, because it's time I wrote a couple short paragraphs about my great luggage.
I've had such great experience with this suitcase. It looks and feels so professional. Nothing of mine gets damaged and is always safe. It's everything you want in luggage and it looks mighty stylish to boot.
I'm someone who travels a lot and I need luggage that will last. Right now it looks just as it did when I bought it. It's very impressive, is very well made and I'd recommend this bag to anyone, even if you don't travel as often as I do, because when you do it'll be there and last you for years and years to come, maybe forever.

Rimowa, good, but maybe not worth the money.
I bought my rimowa Salsa, 29" multiwheel about a year and a half ago. I will admit that it has gotten some good use. I travel once a month international with it. It has only had 8 trips at this point. I paid the extra and got the Rimowa as I kept reading that it was such good luggage. Now, after 8 trips the piece of luggage itself it still in good shape, but one handle is off (top one) the side handle is on it's last legs, and one of the wheels is broken off.
My other bag I use is also a bit beat up, but not broken, and was about 1/4 the cost. I really! like the rimowa for it's hard durable plastic case, I like to put stuff in there that's breakable, it isn't truly hard sided, the plastic bends a bit, but that also makes it more durable probably, but does keep things alot safter I think. But given the shape it's in now, and the fact that I can't find anyone to do any warranty on it, I would have rather spend 1/2 the price on it and bought a repacement sooner.
It's not that I don't like it, just that for the money I wish it had held up longer. I had bought it thinking it might last for a lifetime, it sure hasen't. Hopefully I can get it fixed and keep using it. It's not very usable anymore in it's current state. Keep your warranty information if you do buy one. I wish I could find mine....
