Amazing5
Frankly, UnderOath has put out two dvd's before this (777 and the re-release of TOCS) that have been really disappointing. 777 was random and their were barely any live songs. It was a waste of money, honestly. the re-realse DVD was cool and funny, but way too long and all of the live stuff was cut montages that wasn't worthwhile.

However, Survive Kaleidoscope (wtf is that name? haha) is way beyond good. The both the DVD/CD are amazing and a great asset if you enjoy the band. The CD sound is crisp and clear while still keeping a live setting. This cd actually got me super-pumped for their new record coming out becuase I hadnt listened to DTGL in months. The live cd will be in my truck for quite awhile.

The DVD is probably one of the best i've ever seen, especially for their genre of music. The camera angles and multiple shots creat an awesome experience to watch, as well as tying in the videos of the back. The whole DVD is awesome from beginning to start. Perfect quality and perfect sound.

So there you go, finally a good underoath DVD. Pick it up, you won't regret it for sure.

Off the hook4
First I'll say this - I was at the show that is the live video recording part of this album. To be honest, I think I enjoyed this DVD more than I enjoyed being at the show! The videography is excellent and so is the sound quality. What I enjoyed least about being at the show was the volume level - it was so loud I was distracted by the pain in my ears, not to mention the lack of sound clarity (I know, it sounds lame, but I go to concerts to enjoy the music and the crowd experience, not the volume). Anyway, the sound is a lot clearer on the DVD, and of course I can control the volume to my heart's content.

I haven't listened to the live music CD all the way through yet; I listened to the first few tracks and wasn't all that impressed. But the DVD more than makes up for it!

Obviously, this is an album for the fans, and despite having no new content...nothing, in fact, besides the live show...it still is worth the money if you enjoy Underoath's music at all. I know their previous live DVDs have been utter crap, and I used to think they were just a studio band, but after watching this show, and recently seeing them live, I can conclude that they deserve their popularity. They're not sell-outs (let's just forget TOCS, alright?) and continue to make thoughtful, incredible music.

As far as the actual production and shooting quality...outstanding. The camerawork is some of the best you'll ever see for a band recording, and the sound quality is miles above "777" and their other previous works. Simply top-notch.
