The best game on the PS3 or any system in my opinion...the visuals are on point, story is very deep and ties together nearly all of the previous games' unresolved plots. The gameplay is breath-taking. If there was one reason to own a PS3, it's Metal Gear Solid 4.

If you liked RE4 then you should love RE5! Finally co-op done right, especially online co-op! The gameplay is addictive and you'll find yourself breezing through chapters. The best part is, once you beat the game, you'll instantly want to play back through it to keep upgrading your weapons, finding new salables, earning points to unlock cheats and bonuses, etc...

Best fighter I've played in years...the classic 2D fighting style is updated with 3D levels and presentation, with the classic SFII characters returning. If you love SFII then this is a must-buy!

Great sandbox game with a very detailed environment. Every building can be scaled and gaining new powers and perfecting them is addictive! Really makes you feel like a comic book character...

The FPS shooter that pawned every other first person shooter!!! COD4 is an incredible game that easily deserves the praise bestowed upon it...your next-gen game library is a joke if this game isn't in it!

My personal favorite GTA game. I know many people prefer the gameplay of San Andreas more, but the attention to detail in this game is pretty incredible. Liberty City really feels alive...

What can you say about Fallout 3? "Massive" is the first word that comes to mind. If you like RPG's and open world exploration games, definitely check this game out!

Best basketball game on the market! Used to play a lot of Live, but NBA 2K9 has taken its spot. Good graphics, solid gameplay, and stellar online makes this a must-have for all of the basketball heads out there...

I'd heard about the Ninja Gaiden series here and there but had never played one of the games myself. This is actually an incredible game with really balanced action. The gameplay is challenging and the camera completely sets you up to fail, but all in all, this is a very good game.

No need to add to the mountain of praise that this game's already recieved, but I will say that this and Metal Gear Solid 4 are far and away the best games of this generation. Buy it already...
