| For Microscopes used in classroom setting you may want to select a cordless, preferably binocular. If you select a cord microscope, remember to bring an extension cord to class. Student scopes are fine. They are, however, not strong enough for cellular work. Scopes that hook up to a computer are great. Review the selection here to help you make your decision. Scopes can get VERY expensive. This is not necessary for classwork. You can always upgrade later on should you discover you want bigger and better. Also, you may want a “how to” book on using microscopes. You may also want dye and slides. You can always use food dye. Remember to read the reviews on the microscopes. | ||
