Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse
Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - Blue I love this mouse. I put the batteries in, turned it on, and I was ready to go. The on/off switch is great for extending battery life. Absolutely the only thing I am a little unhappy with is the size. Other reviewers had mentioned the small size, but I have very small hands and didn't see this as a potential problem. I do find my hand cramping up occasionally and am experimenting with different ways of holding it. The use of a mouse is new for me, so I might find the same problem with larger units, as well. Oops, forgot the battery cover. I spend 5 minutes getting it off! Obviously I haven't quite figured out the secret for that. I would still buy the mouse, in a heartbeat.
Long battery life.
My wife and I use our mouse somewhat frequently - for over an hour daily. Usually two or three. Sometimes we forget to turn it off at night, but nevertheless after over a month now the thing is still working with the gauge still showing green. It comes with Duracell batteries, a brand that seems to last longer than others.
The only issue I've seen with it is that on our Mac the settings for it seem to only persist for one user. I like to set the center click to open up a new tab in our Firefox browser. But if my wife logs in as a user, and then I switch to my user (we have things set so you can have both users logged on in parallel, with the other user going to the background), I can't seem to access the settings for the mouse. Don't get me wrong, the mouse works, but seems to be functioning at my wife's settings.
But really, that's not too big a deal. The mouse is great, and I'm really happy with it. I'd recommend it to anyone.
Great look and feel -- horrible accuracy
I really liked the feel and look of this mouse, but it is inaccurate and slow compared to a corded mouse. I ordered this because of all the good reviews, but they must not be very accurate mouse users. I tried it for a few hours, and finally gave up.
I expected this to be better than other cordless mouses, but it's the same inaccuracy problem. Stick with a corded mouse if you're able to until they can fix this.
