An Excellent Series
Bloesch's Christian Foundations is an excellent series (5 out a projected 7 published thus far), based on a "progressive evangelical" approach. He relies a lot on Barth & Brunner, which will stick in some Evangelicals' craw. This book is my favorite since it does an excellent job of discussing rationalists like Clark, Van Til, Geisler, etc. from a (somewhat) Calvinist perspective.
