Editorial Reviews

From the Author
I wrote this book because after experiencing pregnany and motherhood I felt like mothers,in our society, needed a break from guilt. I figured out quickly,as a new mother, I had no idea what I was doing and was very honest about that. The reaction I got from other mothers was surprising. In the beginning very few agreed with me or had input on thier experiences. I think they felt if they spoke about it not being easy and the best thing ever they would somehow be a bad mom. Of course our children are the best thing ever to happen to us, but it is difficult being a mom and I have always been outspoken about that. I wanted mothers to be able to feel like if they weren't going to say it, I would for them. Motherhood is very funny. It can make you crazy but you find yourself doing things that you never thought you would do. I found humor in much of the chaos and wanted to put it into a book so other mothers would not feel so guilty about feeling out of sorts with motherhood.

About the Author
Jackie has been writing human interest humor stories for over 15 years. Jackie is the mother of one four year old, and one on the way. Jackie is an Executive mother who figured motherhood would be easier than managing a staff. This book was written after she figured out that motherhood wasn't easily packaged up, and that the new baby was the hardest boss she had ever worked for. This book allows you to laugh at the mishaps of motherhood. Just when you thought you had done everything wrong as a mother, Jackie exposes her mishaps and lets you in to her stumbling through being a first time mother.

GREAT book you can't put down till FINISHEd5
The book is a very exciting and an interesting book. I don't like to read, but this book got my attention. It's not an extremely long book which helps. It got my attention because I am a mother of 3 and I could relate to the stories that Jackie wrote. I even got my husband to read the book also. It was a book that neither one of us could put down until we finished it. We both laughed at the stories she wrote and both said yep that's happened because we both could relate to motherhood or parenting. I would love to read other books by Jackie Malena. Everyone should buy this book and read. GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
