This is one of the first books i read by myself as a little girl. I still love this story, and still have that same book i had when i was a child.

I wonderful story of a young womans hardships, and trials starting in 1899, in northern New England.

This is the very first of many Kay Scarpetta Mysteries. I read this book, and waited, and waited for another, like a dog waiting for his master for that second "cookie" for being good!!! I now have all her books, and wait for the next to come out, still like that obediant dog!!!!

Mitch Albom is a wonderful author of "life". Tuesdays With Morrie had mein deep thought about my life, But This book, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, had me so deep, i went out and bought 2 copys, just to i could share this amazing story with another person.

I have always been a strong believer in God, and the after-life, and in my own mind i pictured a magnificent place my spirit would go to upon my death. Then i read this book, and this woman, Sylvia Browne, had it! I mean she knew what "going home" really was. I KNEW it! I felt, finnaly someone else knows what i've known or at least felt, and wrote it all down!

This was wicked! It's really a cool novel, about the lives of some pretty wild women. This was my first Anne Rice novel, but not my last!
