Better than the rest, but not perfect...
I've bought several of these through the years (about 20 or so?). I can't remember even one cracking or breaking. They last really well, and the ability to see inside the containers without opening them is really worth the extra money. And they are quite large compared to other see-thru containers. My only gripe is the latches, though they work great when latched, they tend to fall off over time when NOT latched. They are in place using molded plastic, and don't fit tightly at that. Because they move around when not latched, they tend to come out of their slot. They are easily put back in, and still latch fine. As long as they are latched, they stay put, only when they are not latched do they tend to come off. They stack really well, and hold a lot of weight in and on top of them, a really good design for stacking. I still think they are worth the extra $$ compared to other cheap products.

Finally a Sturdy Practical Clear Container
I've wanted clear storage containers for the practical benefit of easily observing what you have. Often I've forgotten what's in containers and its nice to walk into the room and quickly assess what's stored without opening every box. I've bought other containers but the plastic is brittle and not reinforced with baffles like these are so they often crack and don't stack well. These cost a little more but my time is valuable and I like the quality that I can buy once and use for years without the time and hassle of buying replacements.

Pros: Clear to see whats stored, stackable and don't crack like competitor brands. A time saver.
Cons: None I can think of.

Nice but expensive.
If you need rigidity and a sturdy, locking lid, these are the way to go. Much stronger than the non-professional storage containers and the locks hold more tightly than the rubber friction lids of the $6 to $10 alternatives.

Only you can decide if your application warrants the expense, but they are fine containers.
