About the Author
Patricia Bubash received her M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Working with the students and families has been her true calling for over thirty years. For more than twenty years she has presented workshops at the community college on a variety of topics relating to parenting issues, self-esteem, children and divorce, and, currently, Successful Second Marriages. Patricia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri.

An inspiration to ex-husbands and wives everywhere
One failure doesn't mean the second will fail. Designed as an inspiration for those who have loved then lost, "Successful Second Marriages" is an inspiration to ex-husbands and wives everywhere.

Encouragement
How encouraging to read about other "second timers" who are committed to making their marriage a successful one. We don't need to hear what the odds are for not "making it", but rather, that we "can" make it. The interviews with couples coping with issues like mine, but determined to stay a couple, I found encouraging and hopeful. I have told many of my friends about the book. And, I have given it as a gift for my friend who just remarried.

I would recommend this book for anyone considering a second marriage or anyone currently in a second marriage.

Second Time around and loving it
I loved this inspiring book! I felt like I was attending the interviews sitting in each of the couples living rooms! Being a second timer married to a first timer I can relate in oh so many ways to each of the stories - I found comfort in knowing there are other couples that experience the same trials and tribulations of blending families. Although I do not have the health issues or aging parent issues, we still have our issues; but everyone does. And as demented as that is, I find it comforting. I highly recommend this for inspiration and a sense of belonging in this world of blended families and second chances.
