Uplifting story for horse and animal lovers!
My six year old daughter and I loved this story. Snowflake is a rescued horse who has had a hard life. The girls work to earn money to buy Snowflake a blanket for the winter. The story is uplifting without being sad. It teaches both kindness and hard work. We enjoyed all four of the Stablemates books, but Snowflake was our favorite - highly recommended.

Great read for animal-loving girls
I bought one copy of this book as a Christmas present for my 6-year-old niece. Before I wrapped it, I read it to my 3-year-old daughter, who loved it so much I ordered a copy for her also.
It's a nice story, and we love the illustrations. Nice extras are the removable picture card at the back of the book and facts about percheron horses.

Great book for the beginning reader. Interesting with a lesson to be learned!
