A "normal" person who LOVES these products!!
I'm not a stereotypical tree hugger, but I've been slowing adding more organic & natural products to my household. This laundry detergent is by far my FAVORITE earth friendly product I've found.

It's fabulous - there is absolutely nothing about it that I don't like. By using it, I also learned that when I do use regular detergent, I can use a TON less than I used to.

The best part about this detergent is that everyone I've told about it also loves it - and they say that they never would have known it was environmentally friendly if I hadn't told them (meaning...it works exactly the same as their old brand)

I've been replacing all of my household products with 7th generation products and can honestly say this product really works. Other companies do not tell you the ingredients in their detergents for a good reason. This 7th Gen. powder contains no toxic perfumes, optical brighteners, phosphates or petroleum based ingredients. The citrus scent is obtained from real citrus oil. This is about as good for the environment as you could get. It also gets bonus points for not having any animal based ingredients or animal testing (another thing the big companies hide).

I've used this powder now for a few months to wash our clothes. It works just as well as the Tide powder which I've now dumped. I haven't tested it on very heavy soils or stains so don't know how well it performs there.

Wonderful product!
This laundry detergent is the best I have found. It lacks the petroleum so often found in other detergents, therefore making the clothes smell better and feel better. You can really feel the difference when comparing the feel of this powder to other powders: the others leave your fingers feeling greasy. I have found that I do not need to use as much of this as with other products, and the price on Amazon is the best I have found yet - especially with the Super Saver Shipping! After finding that my son and I both were developing rashes to other types of laundry products (including so-called allergen-free), I switched to the scent-free version of this product which I learned about while working as a nanny years ago. My son wears cloth diapers and he has not had a rash since switching detergents. We use the citrus scent for our other clothes and have had no problems at all. In fact, I once ran out of the unscented and used the citrus on the diapers with no adverse reactions. I recommend this product and other Seventh Generation line products to everyone.
