Cute Guitar for your thomas loving toddler
I bought this for my 2.5 year old "thomas-loving" son. He enjoys running around the house with it. I bought it for christmas along with a barbie guitar for his 4 year old sister. I can see him outgrowing this soon though. It's fun but needs to play more songs or have more buttons that make music.
What a fun wonderful toy
This is a great toy for my 2 year old son. Actually, I myself love it too. It's so much fun to see his face light up when we play it. He loves the choo choo sound it makes. Just like the steam engines do.
For the price, I am a bit disappointed
This guitar is about 16" long. It appears to have alot of buttons and would have several different activities for a child. The musical notes are not buttons (they light up), nor are the red "buttons" buttons. I do like the train sounds made by moving the train engine back and forth since my 2 1/2 year old son is really into trains. So you can move the little train back and forth or pull on the black thing on the train track to make train sounds, Strum the yellow strummer to start one of three songs, and turn the yellow twisty nob to make the guitar play either the whole song or partial song when strummed. other than that, the cute train appearance and kid-friendly songs is what you get.
