Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review
Classic in design yet offering modern Cuisinart technology, this is one fruit and vegetable peeler that is likely to last a lifetime. The extra-sharp, stainless-steel blade effortless peels carrots, potatoes, mangoes, and more as it swivels to glide over uneven surfaces. The thick, smooth handle is ergonomically-shaped, fits large hands, and is made of durable ABS plastic with stainless-steel insets, including a hanging hole. A sharp point at the tip digs out potato eyes and blemishes.

Larger than most peelers, this one measures 9 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches across the thickest part of the handle. A clear plastic blade guard pops on during storage to protect fingers that might go rummaging through the drawer. After the peeling is done, the tool goes right into the dishwasher for easy clean-up. Cuisinart covers the peeler with a five-year warranty. --Ann Bieri

Customer Reviews

Peeler kind of OK3
I've used better peelers, the scrapping part doesn't rotate easily and it works better coming back than going forward. I have it, I'll use it, but I wouldn't recomend it.

Horrible! Utterly Disappointed.1
This is one of the most horrible products I've ever had. Quite literally, after washing and peeling about 8 potatoes for dinner, the blade was noticeably dull. Now, it barely peels carrots. What a complete and utter disappointment. I thought Cuisinart would have excellent quality in such a simple tool. I was obviously wrong. It's sad; my peeler from 25 years ago has a sharper blade than this new one does now.

Malisimo1
No he usado el pelador en los 9 meses que lo tengo, y cuando lo quize usar, no tenia nada de filo, es realmente malo.
