The shock-resistant Timex IronKids digital watch (model 7B201) is the junior version of Timex's vaunted IronMan performance sport watch, and it features a tough, durable case and easy-to-use timekeeping functions for your active youngster. It has an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a durable black nylon Fast Wrap strap (with Velcro fastener). The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Excellent watch choice for tweens
Bought this watch at [...]. Was replacing a Casio G Shock Junior watch. My 11 y.o. son excels at losing or breaking things. This watch was better than I expected. The bike at the top constantly moves or changes to swimming, running, etc... he enjoys watching it. He uses all the features including the alarm which was easy to set. This watch has lasted almost a year and I would replace it with the same if he lost it. It's waterproof too and the watchstrap is easy to use. Velcro allows it to adjust to a small wrist, or any size. I would HIGHLY recommend this watch for a kid. There is a lime green version also which I assume is for girls which I saw on [...]. Much better than what I've found in local department stores.

Ease of use at an affordable price
The great thing about Timex Ironman is that there are tags on the face screen that guide the user (or parent) through the steps needed to adjust the display and use the features. Ironkid is an affordable and right sized version of this user friendly watch. And the construction appears to be as sturdy as the adult version.

Great product; good price.
Got this for our son for his 5th birthday. He loves it 'cause it's "just like Daddy's!" Because it is so similar to my husband's watch, he had no trouble setting the time and date. Even I was surprised at how easy it is to navigate. One downside is that my son cannot yet read, so he has to just memorize which button does what, but that will soon enough be remedied. Seems to be made very sturdy and durable. Over all: well pleased with our purchase.
