Ironman Triathlon Data Link USB watch5
I have used Casio DataBank or Telememo watches for many years; in fact I have had 3 of them. I used them for handy, immediate data storage, primarily phone numbers (PDA's are too bulky and bothersome to carry). In each case, I had to get another Casio because the band or the case on the Casios broke in some way, so this time I tried the Timex Ironman.

The Casios have fixed fields and all data entry is done with your fingernails on the tiny keyboard. With the Timex, you enter on your computer and upload the data to the watch via USB (SOOOO much easier). The field lengths and many other features on the Timex are customizable (not so on the Casios). Also, the Timex has over 30K of storage. I didn't measure it on the Casios, but the Timex appears to have over twice the storage, based on the amount of memory left on the Timex after I entered all the data I had in my last Casio. Also, the program that goes with the Timex tells you how the percentage of available memory you will be using BEFORE you upload your data to the watch. There are many chronograph-type features (e.g. stop-watch and countdown features) on the Timex which can use or not use. If you turn them off, you have more memory for data storage (you can turn off any of the features you don't want to use). Also, the Timex has a real solid stainless steel case and band, which are sturdier than on the Casio DataBanks/Telememos.

Long story short, the one thing most of the better Casios have over the Timex is a built-in calculator. In EVERYTHING else, the Timex is far better. I love this watch and I wish I had gotten one years ago.

Impressive value5
After receiving an organ transplant I had a complicated regimen of medicines, glucose monitoring and follow up visits. After researching all the "medical sites" for a watch with multiple alarms I stumbled across this beauty. It is easy you use and program. Simply install the software, connect to your computer with the supplied USB cable. The software launches automatically. The coolest thing about it is that you can set the time, enter all appointments, holidays, anniversaries etc.... by using Outlook. There is an automatic import feature and reminder alarms. There are many features that I will never use. You can remove the unused features and customize the display order to suit your preferences. I highly recommend this marvel to anyone with a busy schedule.

One other thing.... please consider becoming an ORGAN DONOR. Organ donation saved my life and the life of a distant relative of mine.

Good watch, weak watchband3
The USB interface allows the user to have some fine features everywhere you go, like the other reviews say. I had trouble with the watchband, which broke and was hard to replace. The other problem was that the watch's software needed an update after it locked out the computer and gave a false "low batt" error, so get the update soon!
