Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle CreekNancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek
Buy new: $19.82 / Used from: $4.90
I have put this game as number one for many reasons. I absolutely loved the graphics of the house and especially the mountains not to mention the wolf itself. It was fun for Nancy to do some chores because it takes up some time so you aren't wandering around places for no certain reason. There is still plenty of time to do some detective work as well. I would consider this a must have!
Nancy Drew: Danger on Deception IslandNancy Drew: Danger on Deception Island
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $7.45
I didn't realize how much I liked this game until I was done playing it. I realized soon after completing this just how much I loved the music. I thought that the riddles kept this game going and there was never really a time where I wasn't doing something. The beginning was a little dull but the ending was much better. Another must have!
Nancy Drew: The Final SceneNancy Drew: The Final Scene
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $3.74
I love theater and I definitely loved this game. There was great suspense and just the right amount of eeriness that made this game a perfect mystery. I liked how you had to stay in one area because in some games such as Secret of the old clock, it was tedious going back and forth having to complete puzzles or tasks. This game was suspenseful from beginning to end and I absolutely loved it!
Nancy Drew: Treasure In The Royal TowerNancy Drew: Treasure In The Royal Tower
Buy new: $15.35 / Used from: $4.50
This was the first Nancy Drew game I've ever played and I am really glad it was. It had the right amount of riddles and puzzles without becoming stressful or difficult. I also liked how each character had a diverse background. However, there wasn't much of a beginning transition, instead Nancy just appears in her room to start the game. With all said, I think this game was great.
Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted MansionNancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion
Buy new: $15.93 / Used from: $5.00
This game was both creepy and fun. I liked how I would get scared walking through the halls or seeing shadows in the distance because that made it more fun for me. For only the third game in the series, I thought that it had pretty good graphics too. I think the story here was well-thought out and some characters (especially Abby) were entertaining to talk to.
Nancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor ManorNancy Drew: Curse of Blackmoor Manor
Buy new: $15.96 / Used from: $4.50
Wow! Without a doubt the scariest and toughest game in the series. This game is very creepy and I did get spooked at times. I think this should have at least gotten an E10 rating due to its mature material such as werewolves, scary noises and images, darkness, and the cult! I did have a good time playing this but found the puzzles to become difficult and needed help on some.
Nancy Drew: The Secret of Shadow RanchNancy Drew: The Secret of Shadow Ranch
Buy new: $15.95 / Used from: $10.01
I liked this game a lot. However, I thought that at some times it got a little tedious having to ride on horseback through the trails and make some stops to get to a certain location. I, of course liked the creepiness of the ghost town and the night sequences. I thought that the ending of this game is one of the best of the series.
Nancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon CanyonNancy Drew: Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon
Buy new: $14.49 / Used from: $3.49
This is the first game in the series where Nancy gets to solve the mystery with the Hardy Boys right at her side. I thought that the story was really cool and resembled Shadow Ranch with the romantic side of it. Some of the characters did annoy me especially Lori and Tino but that made the game more entertaining. However, I was disappointed with the ending because the beginning was so great.
Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon LakeNancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $13.99
I personally think that this game had one of the most suspenseful beginnings. I liked how you can play in day and night and explore many different places whenever you liked. I also liked the dogs because I am a major dog lover. However, I thought that this game was hard to control and get around at times, but overall, I had a decent time playing it.
Nancy Drew: The Haunted CarouselNancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel
Buy new: $19.99 / Used from: $5.49
I actually just finished playing this game and I liked how many different areas there were to explore in and out of the park. I liked having access to a computer and cell phone in easy reach in this game. I thought that there were some points in the game that were hard to figure out but the ending was great and very entertaining.
Nancy Drew: Danger by DesignNancy Drew: Danger by Design
Buy new: $10.41 / Used from: $3.50
Je ne s'ai pas? Which is pretty much french for saying "I don't know." That's all I can come with for this game which takes place in Paris and in a designer's office. I thought the scenery was beautiful but towards the ending...Je ne s'ai pas.
Nancy Drew: Secret Of the Old ClockNancy Drew: Secret Of the Old Clock
Buy new: $13.43 / Used from: $2.39
For me, this game was okay. It was very mild and there weren't jump scenes or anything like that.In fact I thought this game was a little too tame for my liking and was the polar opposite of Curse of Blackmoor Manor which surprisingly was the game right before this. However, I did think that it was pretty good overall but hated having to deliver telegrams which got old really quickly.
Nancy Drew: The Legend of the Crystal SkullNancy Drew: The Legend of the Crystal Skull
Buy new: $19.82 / Used from: $6.48
This game had great potential. A lost treasure, a creepy mansion, and a graveyard right behind the house! I liked how you could switch from Nancy to Bess. However the characters all seemed to be pretty boring after a while and nothing seemed to be going on for most of the game. The ending seemed abrupt. I do think that it was a good game, but not one of the best.
Nancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu CaveNancy Drew: The Creature of Kapu Cave
Buy new: $9.75 / Used from: $4.47
To end my list, I put The Creature of Kapu Cave at the bottom because the beginning seemed to lead to many false leads for me. I didn't like the silly tasks like getting the right sno-cone flavor or making the right necklace for Big Mike in order to get something from him. I thought that the ending left me wanting more.
