Amazon.com Product Description
The sleek titanium Tissot Men's Multifunction Watch features both traditional and digital time displays for a unique, stylish appearance. The watch is constructed with a strong, lightweight titanium case, a stationary titanium bezel, and a titanium link band with a secure double-push-button-fold-over clasp. A scratch-resistant sapphire window shields the gray dial face, which features silver-tone hour indexes and an Arabic numeral hour index at 12 o'clock. A digital display rests above the six o'clock position and can be changed to read the time or the day, date, and month. This Swiss-quartz-powered timepiece is water resistant to 330 feet. This watch is backed by a two-year limited manufacturer's warranty.

Tissot New Titanium 6 Months Review3
Well i would say the watch has great looks and feels very comfortable on the wrist. However for the most important function... time keeping it does not live up to the swiss watch reputation, as it often loses time on the hour.

Description of the problem:
First let me start by describing the watch. It has two time modes, digital and analogue. The digital functions including time keeping all work very well, however the analogue section does not keep time correctly.

After careful observation i noticed that the minute hand goes back a tick or two on the hour, so lets say both modes are synchronized and its 13:59 after 59 seconds the digital correctly rolls over to 14:00 and the minute hand goes back 1 second.

So after a week the two modes become completely unsynchronized and the wearer tends to lose time.

Handsome watch4
This watch looks great and functions well. I've had it for a little over a week and it so far kept in sync with my atomic radio clock.

The watch body and the band are well crafted and feel very substantial. In fact, a bit too substantial, I was really surprised how heavy the watch was when I received it, I expected it to be much lighter considering its quartz movement and titanium body and band.

The band has plenty of adjustments to fit anyone's wrist and it's pretty easy to adjust, just don't try to find the band adjustment instructions in the manual, they are not there. To adjust the band I cut a piece of a small pin, flattened it's tip with a sharpening stone and used it to knock out the bad pins in the direction shown by arrows on the band.

Now the cons:

The band is pretty thick and inflexible which makes it a bit uncomfortable. It also catches and pools my wrist hairs which is pretty annoying.

The digital display on this watch is way too dark, it's only possible to read in a bright light. The Amazon picture of the digital display is accurate, that's how it is in real life - believe it.

Sorely disappointed3
I love the way this watch looks. First watch I actually wanted to buy in several years. Substantial, yet not bulky; stylish, yet not too flashy. It looks small in the picture, but I'm 6'2" tall, and it doesn't seem too small on my wrist.

Most of the digital functions are useful and fairly well designed. I appreciate the fact that I can have several different combinations of info displayed, such as seconds and date.

Now for the disappointment. The problem is in analog minute hand running out of sync with digital display. First of all, unlike any other quartz watch I've seen before, on this one the minute hand moves only twice a minute, meaning that it will go from one notch to the next in two "jumps" - one at 30 seconds, and another at 60. This would not be much of a problem, if only it happened consistently. Unfortunately, sometimes the minute hand will jump between notches on "00" instead of "30", sometimes it will not jump for a whole minute, then jump a full notch, and sometimes it will jump on "30", then, after a few seconds, snap _back_ to the previous notch. This happens constantly throughout the hour. I've ordered two of these watches from Amazon and both had this defect. Additionally, the alarm function did not work on the first one I got.

All this means that quality of workmanship is not up to par, and that is a huge disappointment to me, because I expected much more from Tissot. My old Seiko has been working problem-free for 18 years so far, and it looks like I should stick with that brand.
